Stumble and Fall

Blow
by: the iHope Poet

Walking on your shadow,
Tripping over ash.
Waiting for those thunder clouds
to Blow away the past.

not for something Good.

it won't go away.
By: the iHope Poet

rebellion
brings a glorious feeling.
With a slight twinge of guilt.

the key
via
is to keep down the down-cast
and sickening shame

just en-
-ough to realize your triumph,
your point poorly proven;

before
you are caught in the act
and punished severely.  Made to turn back
around.

Before
this incessant guilt
       is the only thing left.

I want I need

Held
By: the iHope Poet

I want to be held
As the clouds hold the sun
And the trees keep the birds in a storm.

I need to be loved
As the night loves the dark
Just like heartache loves keeping me warm.

Is it true?

Wrong
By: the iHope Poet

Anger sparks in flames of accusation,
Defiance rises in gusts of staggered blame
And when the gale collides in time to undermine the fire
One must stop to ask himself, "am I and sin the same?"

New year

How to Use (Paints and Paper)
by: the iHope Poet

it's new. it's bright. it's better
maybe.
unused, untouched.
like paints, waiting to be brushed
against a paper.
but that paper, and
those paints
can only be new
for that time during which we contemplate
what color to use and
how to use it.
and the paints are worn thereafter.
