Where is Home?

To Never Return Would Never Be Right.

A home is to find and keep, and then eventually let go of for a time in your life. It is the foundation on which to build your memories and discover your passions. Your home can be the reassuring boundaries that shelter and protect you as you learn about all you're surrounded by in the world just outside the front door. But sooner or later, that unknown world begins to seem increasingly more appealing, and it becomes your next opportunity to leave home and grow into something promising.

Then, when the world turns dark and you lose your way amidst the greater perimeters that lay ahead, home is where you will retreat to. Your heart-ache and troubles may remind you of the familiar space that once kept you sou
nd. Upon returning, you’ll remember yourself, and re-realize your predicaments and dreams with new perspective. Ultimately, home, if nothing else is for returning to. . .

But Where Do I Return To?

When the foundations crumble. When the door is shut. When you've changed so much that you can't find the path you took so long ago, to trace back to the place you so dearly remember and love. Where can you turn? What is home now?
Can you even tell?

Well, home is the place where your dreams are made.
Dream it. Home is the place where essence is embraced.
Find it, hold it, never let go. And though, all that you knew may not be as it once was; though life has left you behind and you need to catch up; catch up! Because even when it isn't the same bed or kitchen or living room, home will always be a door, a knock, a walk-in away; so walk in.
Find the places where home is yours. Maybe it won't always remain, so be prepared to take it with you, wherever you go.

Because the truth remains, that home is in fact, an idea. One that is packageable and meant to carry around.

And I hope that you never have to leave home behind.
