Beautiful dark skies
perfect on this beautiful, dark day.
Ashen clouds with sullen shadow,
dim light all but hidden from view.
Intricate figures carved in thick, gray blankets of air.
And hazy dreams confuse my focus --
Do you think it will rain today?
