it gets dark here

Turn on the light?

healing hurts.
   it itches, it stings
it burns.

it touches.

via

   it lifts, it sees,
it turns.

but somehow the light
   is too bright
in the day.

it's hard to be open
   when darkness
can stay.

healing refreshes,
   it cleans
and renews.

the pain can do wonders,
   or not.
you must choose.
